DeFi Land
A new multi-chain farm simulation game called DeFi Land was developed with the goal of gamifying facet of decentralized finance. The primary objective of the game is to facilitate people's participation in the fascinating worlds of DeFi and cryptocurrency while also providing them with the chance to have fun.
All the features found on standard platforms are available on DeFi Land, yet everything is in one location. Players can begin playing the game for free, work their way up to the Play and Earn tier (or just buy a Gen-0 NFT), engage in fun and thrilling gameplay by competing with other players, crafting, trading, and diving headfirst into DeFi.
Game Tokenomics
DFL is the native utility token, and it may be exchanged for NFTs and in-game items.
- incentives for LP and staking
- In-game Economy
- Voting on governance gives users the power to decide how network resources are distributed.
With DeFi Land's Play and Earn model, users can get paid for finishing tasks or hitting specific goals. The game offers something for everyone; whether you're searching for something adventurous and active or something relaxed and entertaining, DeFi Land has it all.
Game Development Insights
Unity Engine 2021.2.1, the game engine used in DeFi Land, enables to give the farmers an engaging 3D experience. Because the engine is cross-platform, it can use WebGL technology to run the game in a browser and will soon be able to produce versions for PCs and mobile devices as well. Using JavaScript, the team can easily combine the numerous current protocols by running DeFi Land online.
SDK for Seamless Integration
We opted to develop our own JavaScript SDK because we want to gamify the DeFi experience and blockchain activities for users in the simplest and most cost-effective way possible. Our SDK unifies existing protocols under a single interface, simplifying and shortening the time required to integrate new protocols. Later, we will offer it to everyone, allowing developers to easily and freely add new connectors to the platform.
Bot monitoring and control
AWS CloudWatch and our custom event logging tool logs are imported into AWS Athena, allowing us to monitor individual user interactions. This approach also allows us to learn about user interaction with specific features. One of the most difficult aspects of our project is implementing bot control. To protect the system against vulnerabilities, we are currently using AWS WAF and AWS Shield. Log analysis and statistical inference are used to update AWS WAF smart rules. We are also working on our own solution because we have experience with ML and data science.
